Product Description
ADSS GYFTY GYTS GYXTW GYTC8S Aerial Dust Armoured Outdoor Fiber Optic Cable (12 24 36 72 96 CORE)
The ADSS (All-Dielectric Self-Supporting) cable is a loose tube stranded fiber optic cable designed for outdoor use. It is ideal for aerial installations without the need to shut off electrical power. The cable structure ensures high performance and longevity in various environmental conditions.
Construction
- Fibers: 250μm fibers positioned in loose tubes made of high modulus plastics.
- Water-Resistant Filling: Tubes are filled with a water-resistant compound to protect fibers.
- Central Strength Member: Non-metallic FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic).
- Inner Sheath: Thin PE (polyethylene).
- Strength Member: Stranded layer of aramid yarns.
- Outer Sheath: PE or AT (anti-tracking) for added protection.
Key Features
- No Power Shutdown Required: Can be installed without shutting off electrical power.
- High AT Performance: Maximum inductive performance of AT sheath can reach 25kV.
- Lightweight and Small Diameter: Reduces load on tower structures caused by ice, wind, and cable weight.
- Long Span Lengths: Can span up to 1000 meters between supports.
- Durability: Excellent tensile strength and temperature performance.
- Long Lifespan: Designed for a life span exceeding 30 years.
