ADSS Fiber Optic Cable High Quality Outdoor Dielectric Cable

ADSS Fiber Optic Cable is loose tube stranded. Fibers, 250m, are positioned into a loose tube made of high modulus plastics. The tubes are lied with a water-resistant filling compound. The tubes are stranded around a FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) as a non-metallic central strength member into a compact and circular cable core.

After the cable core is lied with filling compound, it is covered with thin PE (polyethylene) inner sheath. After stranded layer of aramid yarns are applied over the inner sheath as strength member, the cable is completed with PE or A T(anti-tracking) outer sheath.

ADSS Fiber Optic Cable is a type of optical fiber cable that contains no conductive metal elements. It is used by electrical utility companies as a communications medium, installed along existing overhead transmission lines and often sharing the same support structures as the electrical conductors.
