The Huawei Ma5680 OLT board serves as a Super Control Unit Board, acting as the central hub for system control, service switching, and aggregation in network infrastructure.
Notably, it also functions as the core management and control unit of the integrated network management system (NMS). The board facilitates communication with service boards through master/slave serial ports and in band GE/10GE channels, enabling configuration, management, control, and implementation of simple route protocol functions.
MA5680 is the world’s first all-in-one access platform that provides integrated DSL and optical access. It can provide P2P ADSL2 +, VDSL2, POTS, ISDN, PON and Ethernet access via P2P, fiber optic, triple play and TDM / ATM / Ethernet leased line services for business customers. The MA5680 can also offer a mobile backhaul with high reliability and high clock precision and high density GE / 10GE interfaces for cascading remote access devices.
