CWDM/DWDM Mux Demux Description:
CWDM/DWDM Mux Demux (Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing) technology provides the flexibility to increase the capacity of existing fiber infrastructure by enabling multiple channels/wavelengths over the same fiber cabling. Each channel carries data independently, allowing network designers to transport different data rates. This technology is protocol and rate transparent, supporting applications such as 1G/10G Ethernet, SDH/SONET, and 8/4/2/1G Fiber Channel across the same fiber link.
CWDM is using optical multiplexer to different wavelengths of light to reuse the signals to single fiber transmission, the receiving end of the link, with the aid of photolysis multiplexer to mixed signal in the optical fiber signal is decomposed into different wavelengths, connected to the corresponding receiving equipment.
