Huawei HG8120C serves as a network terminal situated in the GPON access layer, establishing connections between home and SOHO users and the Internet via its optical upstream port. On the local area network (LAN) front, the HG8120 offers an array of hardware ports to cater to the diverse network needs of both home and SOHO users.
In the upstream direction, the HG8120C links with the optical splitter and the network-side OLT via the passive optical network (PON) port, denoted as the OPTICAL port, enabling the provision of integrated access services.
