EchoLife HG8240H
The Huawei HG8240 is a bridging-type ONT used in the Huawei all-optical access solution. It implements ultra-broadband access through the GPON technology.
It provides 4 GE ports and 2 POTS ports. The high-performance forwarding capability ensures the service experience of voice, data and HD video services, and provides users with ideal terminal solutions and future-oriented service support capabilities.

Features:
- Plug and play: Configurations are automatically provided by the network management system, so there is no need to run on-site.
- Remote Diagnosis: POTS ports support loop tests and call simulation tests, implementing remote error localization. It supports remote batch updates, and up to 2000 devices can be updated on an hourly basis.
- Link monitoring: OAM Ethernet based on IEEE 802.1ag, which implements comprehensive link detection (E2E) and network isolation.
- Energy saving: SOC chips are highly integrated. Each chip integrates PON, voice, gateway and LSW modules for up to 25% energy savings.
