SFP-10G-BX40 Transceiver Description:
The SFP-10G-BX40 Transceiver from FS supports up to 40km transmission over OS2 single-mode fiber (SMF) using an LC simplex connector. This 10G BIDI SFP+ transceiver enables data transmission over a single strand of fiber, with one transceiver transmitting at a 1270nm wavelength and receiving at a 1330nm wavelength, while the other transceiver operates in reverse.
The SFP-10G-BX40 transceivers are high performance, cost effective modules supporting data rate of 25.78Gbps and 70m transmission distance with OM3 MMF or 100m transmission distance with OM4 MMF.
The transceiver consists of three sections: a VCSEL laser transmitter, a PIN photodiode integrated with a trans-impedance preamplifier (TIA) and MCU control unit. All modules satisfy class I laser safety requirements.
The transceivers are compatible with SFP Multi-Source Agreement and SFP-10G-BX40 digital diagnostics functions.
