The Huawei GPFD and GPBD are high-performance GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) service boards designed for Huawei OLT (Optical Line Terminal) systems. These boards provide multiple GPON ports for high-speed, stable, and scalable fiber-optic broadband access, making them ideal for FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home) and FTTB (Fiber-to-the-Building) deployments.
The Huawei GPBD is a 8-port card of the GPON OLT interface, providing access to GPON service from ONT. The GPBD can get maximum access to 1024 GPON subscriptions. The card works with OLT Huawei MA5608, 5683 and 5680 series.
Product feature and application of the GPBD:
- The control module completes the function of loading, running control and management of the board.
- The switch module implements aggregation of eight GPON port signals.
- The interface module implements the conversion between GPON optical signals and Ethernet packets.
- The power module provides the working power for each function module in the board.
